Join us December 7 -13, 2025 to enjoy a fun filled seven days and six night getaway in the heart of Mexico!

This Arty Adventure will give you lightly structured activities designed for centering, relaxing, and low stress art-making with plenty of opportunity to muse, create, and reflect and also explore the colors, textures and flavors of San Miguel de Allende ( over and over, named by Conde Nast and Travel and Leisure as "Best Small City in the World" ).

San Miguel is located at 6200 foot elevation in the central highlands of Mexico. It is a World Heritage Site, known for it’s Spanish Colonial history. Cobblestone streets, rich cultural heritage, hand crafted architectural gems all contribute to its’ romantic nod to old world history and a vibrant music and art scene that brings one back to the here and now.

Our retreat venue is really special!  Casa de la Noche, located in the Centro Historico district of San Miguel de Allende, is an ideal venue for this kind of experience. (In case you're wondering, Mexico is a very large country; San Miguel is not anywhere near earthquake zones or other troubled areas.) Barbara Poole, the owner of Casa de la Noche, is an American ex-pat painter-turned-innkeeper who loves hosting artists! She has created a very attractive space with artists in mind. In addition to the private rooms, there's a lovely studio space, a large meditation/movement studio and a number of sitting and meeting areas. Original art by a wonderful Mexican painters hangs throughout the hotel. Click on the link to learn more about the fascinating story of Casa de la Noche.
